replacing treads and risers. How do I do this without showing the nail marks?

i am getting ready to put in new treads and risers for my stairs inside. I am a bit hesitant about nailing the treads down because I do not want the nail marks showing. Is there a way to do this without showing the nail marks? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you!!

try sawdust from the same type of wood mix with glue fill hole and sand then finish with stain and poly. try it on a test piece to see if it suits you.
