How to renew cement front steps for minimum cost?

Answers:

From: Marylyn

I have been looking at using the stone paint available at just about any do-it-yourself store in a number of different colours. Although it will drip, you can do vertical sides as well as the cement front step.
Cost - about $45.00 to DIY, about $150 for a contractor.
All you need is a weekend of clear skies (which, if that happened last year, I didn't have the time. If I had the time, the weather wouldn't cooperate.) Hoping to do it this year.
